Pros

Small Medium Firm culture which translates to closeness amongst colleagues. Work and effort is made known to top Management given size as everyone is aware of on-going developments ranging from small engagements to Firm Wide strategy executions

Cons

Extremely unstructured and the job title requires you to jump services line from Tax - GST to Information Tech Advisory. Not advisable to mid management employees as it is difficult to secure employment at other firms given our jack of all trades experience. Pay is still lagging comparable to Big4 but speak of challenging BIg4 everyday in terms of proposal, culture, talent acquisition and retention. Unstructured approach would prove to be costly to the firm as we loose out potential jobs due to lack of experience in many areas

Pros

Consultants were not overworked, and people are generally staying in their own lane. Strong knowlegeable teammates and lots of internal resources to grow. Work life balance was good.

Cons

I left during a time of transition, since the top practice director retired and the EBA leader took over as interim leader. This interim guy seemed to be waiting for something to take any action with current resources, and he was not too interested in rallying or figuring things out as a team. If he had expectations, they were never communicated to me. The lack of clarity was very challenging for me personally, and it came off as a lack of support. I think others in the team probably feel similarly.
