The company is not what it was before Covid. The mentality went from “set realistic expectations” with manageable work loads to “treat each file like it’s the only one you have” which is not easy to do when you have double or triple the workload. People are impatient and yell when your behind in deliverables. Again, not easy thing to do when your working on a massive workload with little help. They implemented a new system this year, senior management loves it but they don’t work in it so I’m not surprised but it takes most people 3x longer to get things done. I don’t know a single person that uses the new system that think it’s helpful, it’s just easier for management to babysit people even though they tell us that’s not the case. If you offer any helpful points on the system or ask for anything to be changed you get yelled at for being negative about it by senior management.
