Pros

Fixed day shift and weekends off. They provide standard benefits. Nothing special or fancy.

Cons

A startup company with questionable stability, copycat culture (because they don't have their own identity), rampant office politics and a neurotic CEO. Funny how this company can quickly change their impression towards you and get rid of you in a snap! Just goes to show the culture you can get out of this organization- that people are easily dispensable and they will judge you to the core (regardless if you're just new or tenured) without providing you adequate opportunities for growth and further development. Beware, they will treat you like lab rats provided they don't have a clearly defined set of processes and procedures because most of these are still being drafted - or rather still being copied elsewhere. Piece of advice: don't be misled by their curated social media posts and laid-out website job ads, because they're never genuine. Go look for a more stable company with better benefits, higher pay and a sincere culture. You deserve more than just an aggressive wanna-be-market-player who just copies business models from more established companies and who's primary motive is to lure prospect clients and applicants.

Pros

Good for people who know how to people-please and know how to suck up to those in higher positions. Generous when it comes to company events, there’s always something going on every month, if that’s what you like or if you are an extrovert.

Cons

Too many things are going on at once, and clients are very cheap when it comes to compensation. In my field, they treat us like we’re their nannies. The CEO keeps changing things on the HR side too, always changing her mind. I’ve also heard she has favorites, most of the internal team logs in late., but if it’s an ordinary employee like me, I get an email notice from my manager. They make it look like an ideal company during your first month, with constant meetings and snacks, but after three months it becomes dreadful. Just like most people say here, they lure you with activities and freebies to hide the fact that they cannot provide the salary or incentives you actually deserve. There are no real incentives to keep you motivated or to encourage you to go above and beyond. The only positive side is the managers we currently have, who make an effort to keep us going and sometimes treat us with food—even though they don’t have to.
