Love it - Biologist Bactobio Employee Review

Great facilities, team, resources and scientific challenges. I learned a lot over the course of three months.

None, really. It was a great internship.

Bactobio has created a nice, inclusive and supportive environment in which to work. The office is a nice space, with drinks, snacks, and social events. The management structure is quite flat giving access to senior management, and there are regular whole company meetings where different groups present their work.

In terms of data science, I felt there was too much emphasis on software engineering and not so much attention paid to the actual algorithms and techniques. Benefits are extremely limited - only one day per week WFH, minimum legal pension contributions, no equity, no health insurance,
