Pros
If you show a genuine interest in your career and improving the firm, you will get rewarded and supported in your endeavors. People support work/life balance as much as an architecture firm reasonably can. Very flexible work from home policy and a strong commitment from management to reduce meetings on Fridays.
Cons
Get comfortable with whatever assignment you're given on day one because you will likely be working on only that project for YEARS. When there's work, there is a LOT OF WORK; when it's slow, it's really slow. Information struggles to trickle down to lower-level employees.
