as others have said management is failing because they just promote good lapdogs that panders to them and puts up a good image. Most of them have been at the company for their whole career and don't know how games works and don't have a brain of their own and keep repeating the same mistakes. Others are friends of executives and worked with them in previous companies and just get promoted even if they had bad at their jobs and keep proving that they are bad at their jobs. Everything is forgiven and forgotten as long as they socialize with and brownnose the right people. The lack of ability in those being given power over key projects is laughable. Even a game with high potential will crash and burn with their inexperience and lack of vision all while playing pretend they know what they are doing and preventing those with ability to speak up by badmouthing them in front of executives. anyone who doesn't want a stain to their name should leave the project before it is too late
