I've been with the company for a while now, and while there are some positive aspects, I can't ignore the concerning issues that have emerged during my time here. One major issue is the high employee turnover, which creates a constant sense of instability and uncertainty within the workplace. It's disheartening to witness the departure of talented colleagues who, in many cases, seemed to be let go without any apparent reason or adequate explanation. This lack of transparency from management contributes to a culture of fear and unease among the remaining employees. Another concerning trend is the apparent focus of new managers on their personal growth rather than the overall well-being of the company and its workforce. There seems to be a lack of genuine concern for the success and satisfaction of the team, with decisions being made that prioritize individual advancement over the collective success of the organization. The impression is that the current management is more interested in cutting costs through employee layoffs than investing in the growth and development of their workforce. This short-sighted approach negatively impacts team morale and overall productivity. In summary, while the company has its merits, the issues of high employee churn and managerial self-interest are significant drawbacks. Addressing these concerns would greatly improve the overall work environment and employee satisfaction.

We try to retain as many Bitmover's as possible, but regrettably, sometimes really tough decisions need to be made. We understand the impact that any employee turnover can have on the overall stability and morale of the workplace. In all cases we try to manage this with the sensitivity and empathy it requires; and we try to be as transparent as we legally can be with this.

Pros

Some of the best engineering talent I’ve come across in my 20+ years. Leadership is very engaged and active. Passionate people working at the top of their game. Truly a gem of a company.

Cons

It can be stressful at times - but that’s a necessary evil to be successful. The video streaming industry is undergoing rapid commoditization which makes things challenging.

food company, good technology, mostly good environment

Cons

small organization, during my time one senior executive change made staying untenable. Many people left ins 6-9 month period.
