Pros
- Great ancillary perks (coldbrew, kombucha, popchips, etc.) - Very generous PTO - Immaculate HQ building - Generally hard-working and good people
Cons
- Sales is an unmitigated mess every year. It seems like every few months, droves of good people are leaving to go to other Tech companies in the area (BoomTown, Omatic, etc) ... it's a shame, because at the core I believe BB to still be by and large a great culture with people who are trying to do good in the World. That being said, the company pivots so much on the Sales/Ops side it borders on incompetence. Going through the comp plan/Xactly to determine monthly/quarterly payout is like deciphering the Rosetta Stone ... there are a handful of people here making good money, but the majority of AE's are living like peasants under the guise of working for "Tech Company" -- Base salary is on par with being a teacher for those brought in with little/no SAAS sales experience. - The technology behind the software is antiquated, and it seems like BB at times doesn't care about any other metric besides ARR -- what about customer retention, satisfaction? - Upper Management in Sales is laughably disconnected - Health insurance plan stinks - Are you an CAE/PAE I or II? Welcome to micromanagement hell!
