Pros
Mission of company is tremendous and customer base not only does great work but really needs technology support more than those in the for profit world. Company really does help make the world a better place.
Cons
Leadership is overwhelmingly short-sighted and unreasonably profit-motivated. Newest leadership has little or no understanding of the non-profit industry and wants Blackbaud to operate like any other software company -- but Blackbaud is most successful as a niche provider (albeit a major, large one) and shouldn't / can't be run in the same way that you'd run a software company that provides solutions to insurance companies or financial services. Ultimately, the non-profit world will stop seeing Blackbaud as a concerned partner, only as a profit-focused vendor.
