Pros

Great engineers eventually leave Bose to advance their career. Thus good engineers don't stay in Bose for long, Only so-so engineers and bad engineers remain in Bose (Automotive). Bad engineers are eventually let go. So-so engineers go up the corporate ladder and become so-so managers or bad managers. So-so managers leave Bose to advance their career. Bad managers stay forever in Bose if they know who to applepolish, or they're eventually let go too if they don't know how to play politics. So Bose is a great place to work no matter how you do your job as long as you know politics.

Cons

Conservative and slow. You won't believe we're a tier-1 supplier in automotive industry. If you're an engineer located in Stow, the longer you stay in Bose the more difficult for you to go back to typical manufacturing companies in the future. If you want to advance your career in automotive industry, staying too long in Bose may kill you (meaning you may stuck in Bose for good, provided that Bose keeps you for good).

Cons

Lots of change all at once (but it is communicated - it is not a surprise)
