Pros
-very well known leader in the industry -a lot of support from your fellow employees -great entry level job -very cool team, yet competitive atmosphere -depending on the property, you meet and learn to interact with all kinds of people -great entry level sales experience -also depending on the property, a very fast passed work environment- not a desk job!!! which makes it a lot more fun -7 day a week schedule- take a 4 day weekend and use zero vacation days! - for being a young college graduate in this industry and economy, I am grateful to have a job with The Bozzuto Group. I work at one of the more expensive and well known properties in the portfolio and its pretty cool to work somewhere so well-known and admired by other companies in the industry. - if you have a genuine interest in real estate or property management, Bozzuto is a great place to gain experience as a young professional
Cons
- forget your weekends- required at minimum 2 weekends a month if your lucky, most of the time 3 (due to high turnover) - if your lucky like my property, you have a concierge so they take the initial grunt of the customer, but get used to dealing with all the bull**** of running an expensive apartment building -salary is sub-par but commission does help sometimes.....if the property does not meet budget for the month, you make pennies ----- if you have dependents, forget it you will not be able to afford them -WAY TO MANY politics within company- which makes for harder advancement -pray for good property manager--- this will make all the difference when they are lazy or do not like their job
