Thank you so much for your feedback! We are listening and we are striving to improve our current practices in order to make CHMB the best place to work. Maintaining internal equity is a huge goal of ours, making sure that employees are paid fairly based on their experience, education, certifications, etc. We also pay close attention to current market rates for each position based on location and skills as well. Due to the fact that we are growing, we unfortunately cannot afford to pay top dollar at the moment due to a strict budget, but we are trying to make up for it by encouraging internal promotions, holding company events, and giving out referral bonuses as well as bonuses for helping to train new employees.
We do understand that the bay area is very expensive and we are very careful to ensure we stay within the average pay rate for that area. Glassdoor's salary search function is extremely helpful in finding the average pay for a specific position in the city that you choose. Just be sure to keep an eye on years of experience required for that amount, degrees, certifications, and company size.
