Pros
Great work hours, district trainings for counselors are meaningful and collaborative, great support from district counselor leads. Most employees are friendly and supportive.
Cons
The pay isn’t great compared to other districts in the area. Administrative capability and support is dependent on which site you are assigned (some administrators really should not be in the role of leadership). Funding’s always getting cut. New hires will be riffed 3 years consecutively, before FINALLY getting tenured (if you’re not let go first). The district sticks to conservative views to appease the majority community and stays politically correct, even at the expense of others.
