The learners are genuinely wonderful — motivated, intelligent global professionals and their families. The work itself is rewarding and the DLS platform is easy to navigate. Language Network Specialists & Consultants are responsive (when they want something from you) and seem to be well-meaning.
Cons
The payment timeline is the core problem. By the time you factor in their monthly cycle, audit period, and up to 45 calendar days for processing, you're waiting nearly three months to be paid for work you completed in week one. For a small independent business/freelancer, that's not flexibility, that's financing their operation with your own cash flow.
If you have a full-time salary and teach for Cartus on the side for fun, maybe the structure works for you. If this is your business? Think very carefully.
