Pros

- Free product within the first few months is a sweet incentive. - The product is actually good albeit expensive even for the average consumer. - Tech on hand to make the process smooth.

Cons

There seems to be a huge disconnect between store level managers and those at HQ. Management isn't provided the training they need and this lack of efficiency is passed to the staff as a result. There are always questions and uncertainties on how to do things. Casper recruiters will promise that this is an exciting and not commission based experience but the amount of work expected at a store level from HQ feels the opposite. The pay you get doesn't feel adequate with the amount of work you put in. Company also finds ways to not pay out bonuses by placing unrealistic expectations and you get micromanaged to the point of burnout.

Pros

The WTC office is nice

Cons

Most recently Casper moved to a 401k plan that is highly restrictive. It doesn’t allow selecting individual funds to build portfolio, and the funds selected have extremely high cost ratio. Looks like an extreme and desperate measure to save on admin overhead. Also, every year Casper discounts gets deeper and more frequently. The ads are boring and monotonous. Look at Casper a few years back and what it looks like now.
