Pros

There are some good people there, but they have little directional power.

Cons

Safety: They operated a Category-5 compound testing lab without proper containment for months. Repeated requests to check the room were denied. They also made pregnant women work in this room, testing cytotoxic/mutogenic compounds for extended times in a room without proper air balance. The engineering controls for their fume-hoods are by-passed with a mechanical timer to shut down power after a period of time to conserve power. The fume-hoods would routinely turn off while operators were handling chemicals inside. Management: Look up "Peter Principle" Few of the management or leadership has any experience outside of CRO so there is little practical knowledge driving decisions. They will often commit to unrealistic goals and then shift the blame when commitments are missed. Respect: Simply put, the absolute worst place I have worked... ever. Inconsiderate management who acknowledge spilling food on the floor and walk away. Subversive management tactics. They require employees to transport chemicals, solvents, customer samples, etc... around in their personal car.

Pros

The team is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive, which has made it easy to learn and feel comfortable asking questions. There is a strong focus on training and collaboration, helping me feel safe, well prepared, and confident in my role. I also appreciate the benefits, which support a good work-life balance.

Cons

One area for improvement is the flexibility for new employees regarding remote work hours.

Pros

PTO (if you could actually use it) is top tier

Cons

Don’t even know where to begin. Understaffed like you couldn’t believe. Unrealistic expectations for workload. Micromanagement to another level. Work life balance doesn’t exist. If you bring it up you’ll be told “that’s just the job”
