Pros
You get opportunities to jobs youre completely unqualified for. For me its been life changing for my CV. Not necessarily a pro, but worth noting- the white, posh oxbridge graduate isn't the typical fast streamer nowadays. Its a lot more diverse so please dont let that put you off.
Cons
The pay is terrible (though has gotten a lot better) Postings can vary. You'll need to advocate for yourself seriously if youre not getting out of it what you should. The team that run the Fast Stream have faced a number of headcount reductions over the years and it shows. There is also some serious capability issues meaning the running of the programme is poor.
