As everyone else states, your co-workers are great people and truly want to make a difference. Nice work location Stock Options - Wait No. The company strongly encouraged employees to purchase the options granted as “compensation for a job well-done”. Many did. The last round of “funding” was actually a secretive sale of the company, not a round of equity. CEO and other execs each got 6 and 7-figure bonuses in the deal. Employees owning stock were not timely notified (got my notice 3 days after consent was due) and all employees ended up having their shares CANCELLED with no payment. Cheers to Corporate greed! Think again before working for a company that chose to self-enrich executives while harming the livelihoods of its employees.
Cons
Management is rude, incompetent, and less than forthright with educational institutions. Products still do not work years later except for the ones they purchased in acquisitions. Departmental infighting No career advancement
