Pros

Decent pay as first solid job since leaving school. Offered stability if you managed to make it to full-time. You get to work with some big, corporate clients. Some really nice people throughout the office. Downtown Evanston is a nice place to work with great views and some nice lunch options within walking distance.

Cons

Your experience is dependent on the team you land on. Some teams are run much better than others. If you land on one of the badly run teams, it's sink or swim attitude without much meaningful guidance. If you come into a bad team during a downtime in project action you might do better. Despite the good amount of really nice people, there are a few people who have very toxic personalities. Sadly, many of them are project leaders who have pull and can bring down moral or directly impact your work. Not a ton of diversity in the office.

Pros

I'm honestly struggling to say something beyond "It's a job. They pay you money, usually." I worked there for a long time and did not get fired, despite a few choice places I could have been. I assume this is because letting me stay on was probably easier than trying to trick somebody new into taking the job.

Cons

Ask yourself the following questions, if your answer is "no," you probably wouldn't consider it a negative. If yes, then these are things you should never expect: Do you like being treated with respect? Do you like maintaining your dignity? Do you enjoy lying to clients? Do you enjoy lying to people on behalf of other people? Do you enjoy being, constantly, lied to? Do you enjoy a cowardly managerial staff? Do you enjoy not receiving any agreeable compensation (whether financial or just nice accolades?) Did you really like high school and wish you were still in the cliquish environment of high school? Do you enjoy being thrown under a bus?
