Pros
I have worked with Cohere for about 2.5 years. I started off as an RN reviewer, moved into writing denial letters and now am in a leadership position. Cohere has honestly been such a blessing for me. Not only do I get to work from home, cohere allows me to have a work life balance. The job is not stressful especially in comparison to what i was doing prior to coming to cohere. As with anything there is a learning curve. But Cohere allowed me to join the team even without any UM experience. They have so many resources available for the reviewers so that you always have a place to go if you have questions. As a company they listen to their employees- and actually care. They want to make the reviewing process as streamlined as possible and really want to make Cohere a great place to work. Other places I've worked, don't really care what you have to say- a process is a process and its not changing. Also the metrics and review goals are based off of how quickly the nurses are reviewing, so they are fair and achievable, but if for some reason you aren't reaching your metrics they work with you to help you meet your goals. And everyone is VERY nice ! I love working at Cohere.
Cons
No matter where you go there are always people that are unhappy with the status quo.
