Pros

Some really great people work here.

Cons

1. The Marketing department, particularly its manager, displays tokenism in a negative way. Several minority groups have been impacted by this behavior, and despite being notified about it, the manager trivializes or takes offense at the issue. (This manager displays significant micro-aggression towards the Neurodivergent community and fails to create a safe and inclusive work environment for them. She openly expresses her difficulty in working with them and believes it's the Neurodivergent individuals who should change, rather than herself. 2. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee is currently composed entirely of white individuals. Over the past few months, all minority members have resigned due to feeling unheard and undervalued. 3. They supposedly are experts in mental health but care very little about their employee's mental health or if they are suffering from burnout. 4. Except for a few exceptions, leadership would rather blame employees for poor results than take responsibility for their poor leadership. They are also so disconnected from the rest of the agency that no one feels comfortable with coming to them with concerns. The feel of the whole industry is if you make a complaint be prepared to be fired in a few weeks. Retaliation at its worst. 5. Favoritism is a common occurrence in a setting that is reminiscent of a high school environment. If you happen to conform to the conventional standards of beauty, then you are likely to have a great workday. However, if you do not meet those standards or go against them in any way, then you should be prepared to face bullying and gossip, especially from the management members who are in charge.

Pros

Community Reach Center is a collective whole of individuals who genuinely care about the community they serve. The organization is constantly striving to be at its best for the employees and consumers. I appreciate the level of integrity that goes into decisions made by the leadership team. Benefits and pay are highly competitive, which is not always the case at a non-profit. HR is there to support the employees from general questions to professional coaching. The culture is focused on collaboration and dedication to a higher purpose. Anyone that works here knows they're leaving a positive impact in the world. CRC is truly a second family to me, and I love working alongside my co-workers. I'm very grateful to work at a place that cares about me as an individual, offers competitive wages/benefits, and carries a high level of integrity in everything they do.

Cons

There can be a large number of meetings. This is something that the organization is looking at and making changes to, which I appreciate.

Pros

Nope, I don’t have anything positive to say about this company

Cons

CRC has closed down multiple departments and laid off a ton of staff. Leadership staff are secretive and the lack of transparency is super unsettling. There was a massive lay off, so who knows when it will be my turn next? I will be seeking employment elsewhere because I fear for job security. Before the multiple program shut downs, there were already so many issues with the company that they did not fix at all. High caseloads, low compensation,  a dysfunctional EHR system, high turnover, and the list goes on. It is absolutely comical how they wonder why there is high turnover when they do not care about staff at all.
