      Pros

      Pros of working in occ med is helping patients improve from injuries. The follow up with your patients in a semiacute setting is rewarding. Concentra allows you to do that

      Cons

      Metric focused only. Employer/contract driven. Not supportive of advance providers, left to run clinics solo when in need of help.

      Pros

      The pay is higher than most employers offer for similar positions. The benefits like PTO & sick time are higher (with increased seniority).

      Cons

      No paid holidays. The culture is not as warm & "family-like" as it has been in the past. If you do not fit a specific "mold" for leadership they will not hire or promote you despite your vast knowledge & added value to the team.
