Pros
I really have been struggling with my position in a new line but my team leader has really supported me even though I, at first, challenged that. It’s given me a new outlook on my career. Helped me realize that I don’t have to know everything on day 1 and that my team is just that, a team. We are here for each other. We have a common goal, to grow and do well. I have learned thru this job that there are things in myself I need to work on and I can. Being fanatical feels like a weird thing to say to anyone but honestly it’s the perfect word for what we do in our team and in my career. I love this job even though it was difficult at first. I can’t tell you in any other word except that I am fanatical. I just am. The team leaders are uplifting and supportive. The heads of the local company I work at are also the same. The work life balance is great. Our team focuses on the job but we still get asked how we are and how are lives are. My mental health is acknowledged. I’m a wah but I don’t think that has made a difference regarding how I’m included. In conclusion, it’s a great place to work and I definitely recommend it.
Cons
I’ve said a lot about the positive things but nothing is perfect. The one thing I have a problem with is that when I went from advisor I to advisor II there was not a pay upgrade for that even though the current position is three times more work, Worthy good work but more nonetheless
