Pros
- Great product. Best-in-class for what we aim to do. - Good pay and benefits (even though they're about to cut free food. The bonus structure more than makes up for it) - $30 to cover your cell phone, $30 to cover internet (it's little, but not all companies pay!) - Lots of amazing, smart, humble colleagues still (more on this below) - Great DEI programs - You can learn a lot, very quickly here if you put your mind to it.
Cons
- It's becoming very corporate. - Senior management can be completely clueless. Those who execute are not rewarded. You're rewarded for calling meetings, presenting, and having good "meeting presence" - Layoffs and budget cuts are the norm in this climate. But don't continue raising goals. - It's easy to burn out here - Naturally, people leave post-IPO. However, they're getting replaced with fancier titles who cost 2x, with less experience. WHY? - Your experience depends on your manager. Bad manager? No promos, raises, or bonuses for you, no matter what. - Far too many meetings (again, too corporate) - It's all about optics. Good speakers and presenters will be rewarded over hard workers and executors.
