None. Absolutely none at all.

Cons

The cons are so numerous I don’t know where to begin. The company intentionally misleads its clients on the services they offer; while outsourcing shipping to the lowest and most unprofessional vendors in the business. The end result is a plethora of livid clients promised a service that the company can’t deliver on. You’ll spend the majority of your time apologizing to clients for the endless shipping and logistics calamities without any support from upper management. Leadership is non-existent across the board, and the ethos that the company allegedly is founded on is a joke. It’s an environment rife with ineptitude, poor attitudes, atrocious communication styles, and zero work life balance. The compensation and benefits certainly don’t measure up to the consistent ten hour days you’ll be working without overtime pay. Additionally, you’ll be required to take on tasks that are out of your job scope with zero regard for your already unbearable workload. Save your time, sanity, and talent for a role with an honest and more professional company. One that will offer a holistically better work environment, real career advancement and equitable compensation - none of which Convelio provides for their employees.

Pros

- Really good team, friendly, doing their best, supporting each other, sharing knowledge and tips all the time - Working hours are stable and decent, in addition to a high flexibility with remote work - Challenging, lots to build still - Relentless client-focus, everyone cares about their clients and really tries to make it a smooth process for them

Cons

- Like many start-ups, regular changes in organization, structure, processes, that can be hard to keep track of

Pros

The company has mostly created a pretty easy going environment. The fine art/luxury furniture industry is interesting and interfacing with the commerce/logistics of said industry was worth the experience. A lot of the people were extremely nice and pleasant to work with day in and day out.

Cons

Convelio doesn’t really seem to know what they are doing as a logistics company, but seem to have a lot of confidence as a start-up. That distinction is pretty critical for your job security. Perplexing decision making abound and little meaningful investment in their employees. I think Convelio could do much better if they invested in hiring people with rich logistics experience and listened to their employees more than trusting leadership’s gut instinct. Additionally, they have a lopsided technology stack for a logistics company that doesn’t add really anything at all to a productive transportation management infrastructure.
