Pros

Cox Communications is a people-oriented company and cares about its employees. I always felt like I was part of a large family so much so that instead of referring to my employees as "employees" I referred to them as my team members. Being there inspired me to cultivate an atmosphere of inclusion instead of compliance. I could not have felt this way if the culture within the company was not promoting this great concept.

Cons

As with every company, all is not "peaches and cream" all the time. Changes in structural leadership seem to occur quite frequently, but this was mainly because of economical changes and certain adjustments in the leadership structure were necessary.

Hi, thank you for sharing a review! We're glad to know that you enjoy the flexibility, work-life balance and employee benefits that a career at Cox offers, and that you would recommend Cox as an employer. Cox's footprint and cross-industry impact do frequently necessitate agility with change, but we strive to offer a workplace experience that has the stability of a large company with the friendly community and innovation culture of a startup. And while our impact continues to grow, our values and mission remain the same: across our family of businesses, we're building a better future. We hope you feel that to be the case.

Pros

Learned alot with 20+ years with the company, fun place to work, meet great people, Awesome pay.

Cons

Management will throw you under the bus to save themselves, will not stick up for employees, supervisor yelling at team meetings, slamming things around and acting childish. Best micromanager out there.
