Pros

They pay on time and offer free tea and coffee.

Cons

Apparently managed by headless (or partially headless) chickens. One day, they employ as many people as they can and inform us to built "as fast as possible", the next, they roll out redundancies because they have too much stock or we are left with no work to do on an 8 hr shift. Good job if you enjoy chatting or doodling to pass time in the evenings.

Pros

Great team and support. It's a really interesting product range with a lot of potential.

Cons

Nothing significant. Issues could be raised and discussed openly.

Pros

The reasons behind the majority of the negative reviews of Cox as an employer have since been addressed: over the past couple of years there have been genuine and concerted efforts to transform the company into one where employees are listened to, their contributions are important and that they feel valued. The culture at Cox has changed for the better, and over the last two years I worked there I can honestly say I've seen a huge improvement.

Cons

Due to the relatively young age of the company, and with its ambition to be a major player in the global marine sector, it can be very challenging in terms of the amount of work to do. Having said that, the opportunity is there and it can be a very rewarding place to work.
