Pros
I have been with Crisp for many years, so I've had the unique opportunity to grow with the organization as it scaled from a scrappy startup to an established company with excellent benefits and a lot more operational structure than those early days. Working here through those growth stages has given me a unique opportunity to shape my own future and tailor my positions throughout the years to what I'm strong at and interested in. This company CARES that you are leveraging your strengths and have exciting goals to pursue. You will never feel like a faceless cog in a corporate machine or a ditch digger just punching in a time clock. The work you do makes a tangible impact on the company (which can be a lot of pressure, but also very meaningful). Leadership cares about their people as people. There are times where it's super hard and demanding (traces of that startup culture), but if you earn the respect and trust of the people you work with, there also can be a lot of flexibility, understanding, and exciting rewards. You get out of it what you put in. If you're the type of person who gets excited when you get to fire on all cylinders, when people are counting on you, when you get pushed to grow and supported as you do, you will love Crisp.
Cons
Many things I listed as pros can certainly be cons if it's not what you're looking for. It's hard. There's pressure. The company is growing fast and is founder-led so it has retained a bit of a startup culture that means things move fast. Working directly with the founder (which not every position has to do) can be frustrating, but it's his company so he's entitled to expect a lot from the people working closely with him. On the other hand, if you deliver great results, it's actually a really unique and exciting opportunity to work closely with a successful founder who is deeply involved in his business. You have to buy into the culture/drink the Kool-Aid and really align with the values or else it will not suit you. But if it suits you, it's damn good Kool-Aid.
