Everything else...
I was introduced to the business and the interview process through a friend who couldn't stop raving. I let myself get wooed.
He quickly plugged me into the interview process and despite the fact that I know better, I took his words at face value and bypassed my usual Glassdoor research. BIG MISTAKE.
After nearly 2 months in the interview process, I received an offer and joined the team. I started my career in startups and made the mistake of assuming BIGGER COMPANY = BETTER ORGANIZATION. Boy, was I wrong.
Executive Leadership seems to have their stuff together but frontline and second-line management is a total mess. Onboarding was non-existent. Internal communication is terrible. Good ideas die on the vine because no one can figure out who needs to approve something before it can be tested. I spent more time chasing people internally to figure out how the heck to do my job than anything else.
And there's definitely a "boys club" - align yourself to the right people and promotions fall in your lap and you can keep your job indefinitely despite little/no experience and gross incompetence.
Despite exceeding my month 1 MBO targets by a mile and constantly asking for feedback I was abruptly, without cause, warning, or explanation, relieved of duty after 59 days. So much for "transparency" (a core value of the Sales org).
Going back after the fact, I discovered more than a few terrible reviews about the Sales Development function. Lesson learned.
Ultimately, letting me go was the kindest thing they could have done. I took a pay cut to join and have never in my career dreaded going into an office more than I did at CrowdStrike. I had planned to grit my teeth and bear it until an exit, but I'm so much happier (as is my wife) being out of that place.
