Utter Lack of Respect

Pros

Platform seems decent and the pay was quite good

Cons

The first thing that springs to mind is an utter lack of respect for you as an individual - very much in accordance with the 'hire and fire' attitude adopted by this company. Six employees from the same office were let go in one day, it was handled without respect or sensitivity. Two individuals (who weren't in the office at the time) were called up and informed that they were the weakest performing member in the team and were therefor being terminated - leading them to believe that they were the only one to have been let go. This 'executive decision' was counteract some serious economic failures, having realised too late, that they were growing at an unsustainable pace and needed to make cutbacks. This was not the honesty that they deemed us worthy of. Our team was mislead for 5 whole months with regards to our expectations and performances - ensuring that we were on track and not to be concerned about improving anything - no substantial or beneficial feedback was provided. Progression was constantly emphasised, but has not been demonstrated and was not fulfilled. To be blunt - don't make promises you can't keep. The office atmosphere is quiet and uncomfortable and also incredibly exclusive and 'cliquey' depending on which department you were in.

Pros

The first and most important positive: the EMEA teams, with boots on the ground, doing the real work in the region are made of extraordinary people. Some of the most honest and kind Sales people I've ever met are in the Sales and Alliance teams at CrowdStrike EMEA. I only hope they keep rewarding these passionate workers. Second positive: their product is the best in the market. Competitors are trying to get closer but nothing can beat Falcon. If you are looking for a cybersecurity vendor, look no further, sign a contract with CrowdStrike!

Cons

People disappear from one day to another, as an example: Crowdstrike stretches the laws of redundancies to fire highly paid people to replace them with junior staff paying 1/2 the salary. You connect the computer to join the customer's call only to get surprised: "You don't work here anymore". I partially blame this bad culture on the fact their ERGs are powerless. Women of Crowdstrike ERG only exist to share a daily woman in history (as if the workplace needs more overeducated underpaid women). The LGBTQ+ ERG did nothing for Pride Month nor did the Black Community ERG during Black History Month. But don't get me wrong: sexism, racism and homophobia are alive and well at Crowdstrike organisation. Forget work-life balance, at the onboarding training you will hear "If you want to finish your work at 6 pm, this is not the company for you" - But of course, during recruitment this is not the message you will hear.

Pros

I would be lying If I put anything in this box, aside from good technology they have nothing to offer aside from headache, uncertainty and a complete waste of time

Cons

Where do I start... If like most human beings you’re looking to develop a long term career, don’t waste your time. I watched a team of six SDR’s get let go with no warning, data, training or support and I’m supposed to be excited about a group of rookies coming in to provide me with leads? So I’m now left waiting for these grads who have never had a full time job in their lives to learn something that the previous team had a great understanding of? Because it’s cheaper? Great idea! Our inexperienced Jordan Belfort wanna be board of “leaders” haven’t a clue what they are doing and make ridiculous snap decisions. Expect no training, support or structure to your role Expect to ask for the fundamental tools and resources to do your job 12 - 15 times with no progress months after. Expect to be patronised and mislead with an initial offering that is nothing like what you were told Expect to be promised plenty and expect to be given nothing The entire sales team is unhappy, everyone is looking for a new job and we all realise the mistake we made leaving our previous roles Don’t do it.
