-At times there can be small "start up" growing pains such as lack of comms or visibility into certain projects -Competitive industry which is both good and bad (keeps you laser focused) -Raise/Bonus structure is usually tied to milestones out of your full control which are volatile and not necessarily tied to your own progress.
