Pros
-Awesome technology. -Good talent (amongst a small handful) -Excellent and endless opportunities to learn and grow. -Decent benefits. -Food trucks and catering at Boston location. -Boston office has awesome kitchen. -Decent RSU packages, but not incredible. -Fun co-workers.
Cons
-Pay is below market average in comparison to hours and skills demanded. -Severe lack of US personnel and management to help distribute workloads. -Severe lack of skill/talent across core teams, causing single point of failures. -HR is not helpful at recognizing/remediating burnout. -Management/Seniors are burned out and everyone is spread too thin. -Executive leadership refuses to hire additional personnel. -Unrealistic deadlines from upper-management who ignore risks associated with lack of personnel. -Zero upward mobility and no career progression offered. -Often have to work weekends to meet deadlines. -Unlimited PTO exists, but taking time off only piles on your workload.
