Pros
Not many free Cable is about it
Cons
Dish treats their employees horribly. Examples.... The company will tell you they are going to have a appreciation party for the agents but in order to go you have to clock out and go with time with out pay when they pay so little as it is. I worked there for 2 years and got another job that is starting out with higher pay than I was making at dish. That is even after 2 raises. Another thing they will not allow for coaching if they have too many calls in the Que there fore development is not top priority for them. It is impossible to get any time off. My son was having some major surgery so I applied for FMLA to have my Dr. fill the paper work out 3 times for it to be denied each time. Finally my Doctor refused to fill the paper work out again and told me this was the worst company she has ever dealt with in her life when it came to FMLA. I asked for PTO to use my vacation time to have it denied as well. So I told them if I did not get the time off I would have to quit. It was then approved. They are always short handed for a reason. They always are telling us to refer a friend to work there sadly I would not want my worst enemy to work there. The insurance is expensive to have nothing covered until you have met the $5000.00 dollar deductible. There is a reason it is ranked one of the worst companies to work for. I can honestly say they have lived up to their reputation in this area.
