Pros
Salary isn’t bad if the company truly values your work. If you utilize all the financial benefits you can make out pretty well with compensation. I’m ending up with about $6500 yearly employer 401k contribution plus nearly $4000 from the ESPP.
Cons
Militaristic management style top down and bottom up without a good reason. Inflexible work schedules. Always a strange feeling if you mess up even on a small scale you won’t have a job. And of course the childish badge report. Are we really still in high school? The “Dish is isn’t for everyone” viewpoint pushes the good people out and leaves what is sadly a largely underperforming group of employees. Health benefits are emergency use only due to the cost structure.
