-Fast moving, high energy environment keeps things fresh and exciting every day -Trusted early in my career with extremely sensitive information and HUGE decisions -The work that I do every day has a gigantic impact on the business -No other company would have taken the chance on me with the lack of experience that I had in analytics and given me the opportunity that I've had -Genuine desire by management of all levels to improve morale and work/life balance, but some struggles with actually executing on that desire
Cons
-CPAW does not describe good culture, it describes results. There is an overwhelming 'meat grinder' feeling at DISH that makes people feel like numbers and CPAW doesn't help. -There is a pretty antiquated sense of how business should be done. Inflexible work weeks, sick days come from PTO, unwillingness to allow work from home (even just occasionally), emphasis on hours instead of output even for salary employees -Market-median pay and benefits. We can build the Best Team but we can't keep the Best Team.
