employees are tracked via their badges and you must be within the office between 'core hours': 9a - 4p. employees are fearful that they may not hit their 40 hour work week and will opt to eat at the company cafeteria (which is not free) vs leaving the office for a few minutes. if the weather is bad, prepare to leave hours in advance or get a hotel room at your expense; as if you're not in by 9am, you'll be in trouble.
no WFH option. the CEO mentioned during a company meeting that people that work from home 'must be serial killers'.
the office is rundown and falling apart. when it rains, the water gets into the building. the interior is very neglected and has the same look at the prior company that had the lease (think 80s).
all decisions are made by one person. causing a bottleneck; especially when that person is OOO.
very high turnover which has led to a huge knowledge gap, low morale and a lot of extra work with fewer amount of people.
employees are paid 30-40% under market value and the benefits are laughable.
