Pros

wonderful training program the possibility of a work schedule that will allow you to have time off from work every week continuing education specific to dialysis and Davita; it is mandatory for all employees

Cons

distinct lack of respect for the most important and hardest worker of the healthcare provider team! (floor nurse) unrealistic expectations of the floor nurse working side by side with Patient Care Technicians; some who are like badly-behaved children in adult bodies lack of support by management for the floor nurses

Pros

Management supports a work-life balance, hours are flexible, okay benefits. Good training opportunities and there is effort by management to support a good work culture. 6 weeks at 80% of pay Paternity/Maternity & Adoption leave. 401K with 6% matching. For 2 adults, we pay for Davita's Anthem BCBS healthcare plan and it is $350/month (4,700 deductible).

Cons

Payscale isn't aggressive - 1% raise each year. You also may be asked to cover other clinics temporarily without fair compensation for the extra workload.
