Pros
Remote work flexibility, some nice people, flexible working styles, decent base comp ranges. A great idea and company mission
Cons
Terrible leadership, completely clueless. Great idea for a product but awful execution. I understand that layoffs are sometimes a necessary evil, but in this recent layoff, some colleagues who were only there a couple months were chopped. You didn’t see this coming before then? Really? That’s even scarier. They say that DEI is important but have made little to no efforts to embody that - it’s not even one of their values. Leadership is all over the place. Forcing everyone from Google Suite to MS suite. Terrible communication. Even comms from the CEO, you could often tell it wasn’t coming from him. Very disingenuous. Operating a bit too lean is running teams into the ground leading to increased burnout. Forcing the merger in the worst way and it’s not working, at all. Culture is severely dying. There is a major lack of process for mostly everything and trying to implement them is like pulling teeth. Too stuck in their own way. There’s a lot more to say, but I’ll leave it there.
