Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on DefenseStorm. As you highlight, our smaller size provides an environment where employees can roll up their sleeves and work together closely to make a meaningful difference. We work hard to support our people with the right tools and benefits. And based on the results of our annual employee engagement survey, we’re adding new programs this year to support them even more.
Hopefully, you’re aware from updates on our website that we’ve started rolling out a new and highly differentiated positioning for DefenseStorm. With risk at its core, it is completely aligned with financial institutions and reinforces how DefenseStorm is radically different from other more traditional providers. In the past few months, the commercial side of our business has become tightly aligned and energized behind all this new work, which is playing out in the market. We’re committed to our “promising Sales team”, as you rightly call out, and that includes hiring a new head of Sales who is also dedicated to each individual’s success.
As for leadership and business operations, we’re as transparent with employees as any company can be at our stage of development. We’re privileged to have a Board that brings tremendous industry experience and a commitment to the company’s long-term success, helping the leadership team make smarter and more informed decisions. The significant decision to let employees go was made with an incredible amount of diligence and thought. Like hundreds of other tech companies large and small, unforeseen changes in the capital markets forced DefenseStorm to pivot.
While DefenseStorm was not the right fit for you, we wish you success in your future endeavors.
