Pros
The Deltek team is top-notch. Overall, collaboration among multiple groups has been really good. My direct manager is amazing at getting things done without overloading the team. We've built a great rapport and level of trust. The benefits are good (unlimited PTO, half-day Fridays every other week, flexibility, work from home, etc.). There are lots of opportunities to stretch capabilities and grow. Love how Deltek is putting AI front and center not only in its products but also in how it's helping employees get more done, faster and easier.
Cons
The workload can be insane and overwhelming. One needs to be really good at time management and setting personal boundaries to ensure one's mental health. Otherwise, work-life balance can be tough, making it especially difficult to mentally break away outside of work and focus on what's most important in life. Sometimes, it feels like contributions aren't seen, let alone recognized, at the same level as those working on high-visibility projects, which can be deflating at times. There is some concern about whether the salary is on par with others in the same title/position at Deltek.
