Pros
Ability to work from home, free parking, some really good co workers that do not get recognized for carrying all the incompetent people who, for some reason, will not be removed.
Cons
I recently had my exit interview. I sincerely hope that action is taken particularly in regards to three specific people who threatened, bullied, harassed, and ridiculed me over the past 8 months. I probably needed another hour with HR just to complete going through my list of the odd and disturbing experiences that I went through; and I was only here for a short 1.5 years. The company culture is toxic. Trying to voice valid concerns pretty much got me demoted in my position and made me a lame duck; everyone knew of my bad situation as the grapevine here thrives - all the offices are like the sets of a bad soap opera. During weekly 1:1 meetings, I was lectured for behavior that in most cases was based upon lies - yet no one was willing to do any investigation for validity or exaggeration. They became diatribes against me, my project, and everyone on the project. I witnessed first hand back stabbing and the destruction of people's reputation by the very people who preach that they are here to help you. It finally came to a head a little over a month ago. It didn't look like anything was going to change for the better. On the contrary, it was changing for the worse. When your professional life begins to overflow into your personal life, you know it time to move on. Corporate America is far from fair, stress free, and crazy at times. DQ is beyond any place that I have ever experienced or heard of - And I've been in this same business for 25 years.
