Pros
Very friendly atmosphere — a tight team with a large proportion of senior people who care a lot about quality of design and tech. The company gets a lot of big content-oriented projects, many higher-ed sites (top schools like Dartmouth, MIT, UVA and Juilliard) and non-profit organizations (Make-A-Wish, Understood, and the Public Library of Science.) They also do lots of commercial work and marketing, but the ongoing flow of ‘meaningful' projects feels good to work on. Good work-life balance. Nice perks - great coffee choices and snacks, free lunch on Fridays, beer on Thursdays and a weekday off-site summer party. It seems like the management are doing things to improve process — a lot of emphasis in the past year on Agile and better planning/tracking process.
Cons
Space is kind of packed but I like the people, so doesn’t bother me. Many projects, and some people are assigned to multiple projects. Producers can be over-burdened.
