Pros
very little pros about the company it offers a corporate environment, with little organisation of workflows/ structure.There more senior staff than you could shake a stick at. Beware there is no such thing as teamwork at discovery london. A lot of time is spent convincing people to get the work done!
Cons
There is no development for staff in in content operations department. The work load is stated as being fluid but realistically this means that at any minute you are expected to take on more channels/feeds, workflows and no one will care if you can handle it! Be very careful people have collapsed under the pressure/stress of the work. Staff turn over is incredibly high and restructures are always happening. Work is not very interesting and the systems are very dated. Your under constant watch by management don't be surprised if you are pulled up for taking a tea breaks or having a sick day. Staff are very clicky and newcomers need a lot of time to fit in.
