Pros

It's work! When there is an issue with the truck they do try to fix them fast. not much else to say there.

Cons

Never know what your going to do until you get into work. there is so much lack of communication and the office doesn't seem to know what is really going on or where their equipment is at. They don't care if you work 70 hours one week and then only give you 10 hours the next week. They don't pay any over time, or per diem if you are stuck out on the road. I do not recommend this job for anyone. They have a huge turn over rate because they don't treat their employees right.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, we were going through office personnel then. By 3 pm all drivers know what they are doing for the next day. We track our equipment very well and each truck has an ELD for communication and tracking. Distribution Inc. schedules each driver for the hours they would like; start time and how many hours per week they would like. Yes, we do not pay overtime but we pay regular wages for ALL the time sitting in a dock, down time including sitting on the side of the road for repairs.

Flexible scheduling, friendly & caring staff, excellent upper management, good ethics & morals, family-owned business.

Cons

Incredibly high medical insurance with high deductibles, no vision, management sometimes gets overstressed and is known to fly off the handle, but otherwise is great to work with.
