Pros
Overall, I had a great experience at Docusign. The product is well-built, and customers tend to be very happy with it. The people are the best part of Docusign!
Cons
There have been significant changes since I first started. The company no longer invests in sellers' success the way it used to. Success now heavily depends on the quality of your territory—if you’re fortunate to have a great one, opportunities can come your way. However, if your territory isn’t strong, it can be an uphill battle. Some of the top-performing AEs benefit from deals that fall into their laps through consumption or customer requests. Without those, it’s challenging to consistently hit targets. The IAM (Identity and Access Management) offering is also struggling. There’s limited interest from customers, and while a handful of them do adopt it successfully, the demand is not widespread. I have concerns about DocuSign's long-term ability to maintain its competitive edge and overall success in the market. My advice: proceed with caution and carefully evaluate your opportunities here.
