Pros

None, this company is just so below average.

Cons

There is an endless amount of meeting rituals. Management tries to justify these with excuses like "meetings create team spirit" and "we need to see each other to connect. These people do like their endless meetings. So, at times you stare 1.5 hours into the screen without saying things because this company believes in lecture meetings. Work itself is a mess. Goals are not clearly defined, they change constantly and information does not flow. You either gather what you need from those lectures the management loves or you don't. This company has the infamous parts of the startup culture without actually creating a friendly and safe environment for work.

Pros

At Dreamdata, you'll join a team that's focused on creating a great product. The people there are smart and dedicated, and they are working to solve an actual problem. Their office is fantastic! The food in the canteen is almost always good! The fridge is always stocked with refreshing beverages, there's a good espresso machine so you can make great coffee, and the social events are unbeatable—think fun activities (wakeboarding, boat tour in the canal, paddle, art sessions, etc), cool coworkers, and plenty of drinks like beers and wine!
They're cool with letting people work from home once or twice a week, which is great.

Cons

Sometimes, we may not be fully aware of every decision made by the company. However, I understand that this can occur because of our close proximity to the founders. We interact with founders almost daily, engaging in conversations during lunch on random topics, or seeing them around the office. Because we feel close to them, we expect to be informed about every decision, but it's important to recognize that this isn't always feasible and they can't share everything. Since it's a startup, formal career development plans are not in place, and instead, we need to adapt and grow alongside the company's expansion pace, which is not always that fast because they value a sustainable growth.
