Pros

Durlston is the most collaborative recruitment firm I have come across. Search ideas, feedback and market news is continuously being shared via an open channel which helps insure everyone has their fingers on the pulse of the market. Every bit of information you share is returned ten fold which, as knowledge led recruitment firm, proves invaluable. Culture is definitely one of the other selling points for the firm. There is great emphasis put on holding each other up during the inevitable dips and managing egos going through the highs - Not a stereotypical sales environment and makes it all far more sustainable.

Cons

Keeping up with the social events!

Pros

I joined DP from an environment with very little support or training. Over the last 18 months the whole team has played a huge role in my growth both personally and professionally. The culture is fair, collaborative and transparent. If any conflict does come up, it is very rare and always handled quickly and professionally. Management genuinely wants everyone to succeed and makes sure no one gets left behind. There is a lot of autonomy to work on what you are interested in, but also plenty of support if you want guidance. We collaborate closely across all three offices, which means you get to see the roles and opportunities globally. Client relationships are fantastic and often lead to exclusive roles. Even as a junior, I had the chance to attend client meetings and manage relationships directly which was such valuable experience. The team is amazing. Everyone celebrates wins big or small and there is a real sense of wanting the best for each other. Recruitment can sometimes bring out the worst in people but DP brings out the best :) The incentives are excellent and keep everyone motivated. Hours are great for the industry and being able to work out at lunch is a big plus.

Cons

Lots of cookie orders and Deliveroo
