Pros
As a rapidly growing business the excitement is in the chase of a deal, the growth of the business and the acquisition of clients. The team is agile and growing by the day and people are friendly and fun to be around. The business offers the opportunity to be creative in your thinking and you can lean on others for guidance and support to get things done, as long as you ask.
Cons
The growth and pace that things move mean that sometimes things are not clearly communicated and there feels like a lack of connectivity from either ends of the business in terms of leadership to employees. We have no clear view of the ELMO strategy, we have no clear view of the roles we play in the bigger picture and at times we are very disconnected. I would say we are not all on the same page. The Exec is newly formed in its structures and the roles below the executive lack clarity and definition. Next steps need to be to get the managers/Heads of call them what you want to be aligned in the company strategy and values etc and get them singing from the same page.
