Pros

Great industry with a ton of growth potential... It is Electronic Recycling after all Most employees are great to work with. Steady hours

Cons

Corporate treats all employees like incompetent thieves because their whole management team was fired for theft right under their noses. Inter-departmental communication is ridiculous. Force you to sign training certificates without receiving any training. Never in compliance for audits until audit comes, always cutting corners and then in turn blame employees for being out of compliance. For as big and industrious as the company is the pay is a joke, might as well work in fast food industry. Incentives are non existent, raises are a rarity. Ex. Worked there 2 years as a temp and was promoted twice got one pay raise. Was finally hired on and was denied a hire on raise because received a promotional raise 6 months prior.

Pros

I recently left my position with ERI in Texas to move back home to Wisconsin. I have never had the pleasure to work with so many caring people in all of my career. We weren't just co-workers, but became family. The management staff truly cares about the well being of all of the employees. And that's hard to come by, when you are working in a warehouse setting. You aren't just a number there. I worked my way up the ladder rather quickly, from my hire date, and if I didn't believe in the integrity of the company or the leadership staff, I never would have taken on additional responsibilities and decided to grow with the company. Employees need accountability, but seeking to understand their individual struggles goes far in retaining employees. I feel like the management team in the Flower Mound facility lives by this rule and it's a great rule to adhere to when you truly care about team building and employee retention.

Cons

ERI needs to do a salary study in the surrounding area, to understand why the turnover rate is so high. The pay isn't great, so employees tend to leave rather quickly when a business in the surrounding area is hiring. The PTO program should be revisited. It's hard to gain any substantial PTO in the first few years.
