Pros

This can be a fun job if you work with good people, and great for gaining experience with writing exercise prescriptions.

Cons

The benefits are nonexistant, and my particular location did not allow any unpaid time off or sick time. I only could accure about 30 hours paid time off per year, ( unused PTO goes away at the end of each year), and could only take a max of 3 days off in a row . Taking 4 days off in a row is considered a leave of absence and could lead to termination.

Pros

Love the company culture and values. It’s fun to be apart of an innovative company in the health and fitness industry. 90% of the people I have worked with over the years are great people that really know their stuff.

Cons

For the health and fitness industry the benefits and schedules are great for full-time employees but the pay is sometimes a little low. Pay is sometimes based on the account contract and yearly raises are rare, but small increases do occur to help with the increased cost of living.
